On Sunday October 30, 1938, Orson Welles and his Mercury Players performed the famous (and infamous) War of the Worlds radio broadcast. Regardless of whether or not it inspired true terror in some of its listeners, this broadcast has gone down as one of the greatest radio broadcasts of all time. Unsurprisingly, it still is a fantastic bit of storytelling and remains an exciting and terrifying bit of entertainment.

Now, another Sunday October 30, I invite you to listen to this broadcast, and whether this is your hundredth time listening to it or your first, I hope you find it as inspirational a piece of storytelling as I do.
